parkrun on tour – 7 April 2012

Easter Saturday’s parkrun was around Lake Matheson, near the Fox Glacier. This lake is famous for its scenic reflections of Mount Cook. On a clear day, it looks like this:

Unfortunately, on the day we went it looked like this:

However, views or no views, a couple of laps of the lake were still good for a parkrun.

Re the leggings: it was not cold, they were an anti-sandfly precaution.

  1. Despite the lack of reflection, it still looks a lovely place to run. Sandfly protection? What is the risk with them?
