All my parkruns on tour so far have been just me running roughly (sometimes very roughly) 5k somewhere on a Saturday. But in Sydney there is an actual, proper, kosher parkrun to participate in. It is in St Peters, a not-so-glamorous suburb of Sydney. The first half of the run is not even in the park, it’s through the streets around the edge and you can’t even see the park. The second half through the park is much nicer, there’s a big old hill at 2.5k, then you do a lap of the cricket pitch before zig-zagging back to the finish.
